In his own words, Darrell Scott is an artist who specializes in "the old country music of cheating, drinking, working, longing, pre-Garth, pre-video, pre-urban-cowboy country music - the voice of working people - people of the land." Scott has been playing country music since his childhood and his love and respect for the heritage and history of country music is evident.
